Dishwasher:
Full Time: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 1p-8p
The Dietary Dishwasher is primarily responsible for performing assigned work and cleaning routines for the Dietary Department while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards.
1. Follows work assignment as prepared by the dietary manager
2. Assists in checking incoming supplies and storing of supplies
3. Follows duties as posted on the duty schedules
4. Washes and sanitizes all dinnerware items
5. Performs cleaning duties in kitchen, dining room, and on equipment in dishwashing area as established
6. Delivers food carts to nursing stations
7. Assists in maintaining dietary department in a safe and sanitary manner
8. Reports any equipment malfunction to certified Dietary Manager or designee, Maintenance, or Administrator
9. Performs other duties as directed by the cook, dietary manager or designee
10. Personifies outstanding customer service to co-workers, clients and vendors by acting as a subject matter resource in a timely, considerate and friendly manner, always maintaining the “Golden Rule” approach; practices patience and kindness
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent Required Experience: 1 or more years’ experience in food service or dining services Preferred Experience: 1 or more years’ experience in a long-term health care setting
