What to expect as a Nurse Aide Trainee:
You can look forward to a comprehensive, paid training program that will prepare you to become a certified State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA or CNA) in the state of Kentucky. Training includes:
- 75 hours of either online or classroom instruction
- Hands-on clinical training
- Job mentoring
- Preparation for your Kentucky Board of Nursing Competency Evaluation Examination
What You’ll Do:
- Provide basic care services such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Ensure our residents receive essential social and emotional support
- Report vital information on resident conditions to Nurses
- Provide person-centered care and excellent customer service
- Support resident admissions, transfers, and meals
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure smooth shift transitions
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be eligible to enter an approved Nurse Aide Training Program and will be required to pass state approved competency evaluation within 120 days from the date of hire.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
