Resident Services Coordinator


Under the oversight of the Executive Director, the Resident Services Coordinator supports census development through internal and external activities. This individual consistently interacts with the independent living residents to ensure solid communication and resident satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a consistent forward-facing liaison with current and future independent living residents.
  • Through daily interactions maintains or enhances Independent Living resident satisfaction.
  • Strengthens current programs and identifies opportunities for new programs and services by collaborating with the operational team to ensure successful implementation.
  • Serves as a facility ambassador/spokesperson externally and internally during marketing functions and resident activities.
  • Collaborates with the Community Relations Manager and Social Services Director to ensure that external customers are aware of services and how to make a referral.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records of all functions within delegated span of authority; prepares and submits reports as required.
  • Collaborates with the operational team to appropriately respond to emergencies for residents and/or building concerns.
  • Understands the recognition of resident changes in condition and appropriately notifies the Executive Director.
  • As directed by Executive Director, prepares and maintains routine correspondence, and provides support for external and internal marketing initiatives.
  • Supports the independent living reception activities to include greeting visitors, answering phones, deliveries, filing, and other similar tasks.
  • Personifies outstanding customer service to co-workers, clients, and vendors by acting as a subject matter resource in a timely, considerate, and friendly manner, always maintaining the “Golden Rule” approach, practices patience and kindness



Required Education/Experience: High school diploma / general education degree (GED)

Preferred Experience: Experience working with the elderly and conducting assessments. Rental property management and/or senior housing management
